Julien was born and bred in Villeneuve-sur-lot in the heart of South West France.
At a young age he developed a love for sport and became quickly devoted to playing Rugby League. Julien went on to lead a highly successful professional Rugby League career that spanned over 15 years playing in both France and the English Superleague. He played for clubs that include the Bradford Bulls, Wakefield Trinity Wildcats, London Broncos/Harlequins RL and the Catalans Dragons. He also represented his country 36 times captaining the French Rugby League team on 10 of those occasions. More recently Julien had the opportunity to coach Rugby League at a semi-professional level in France and enjoyed the challenge of working to bring out the best in athletes within the sport he loved playing for so many years.
In 2012 Julien decided to hang up his boots but wanted to continue working within the sports and fitness industry. Personal Training felt like the right next step and he spent the following 5 years with 98 Gym in Sydney. Here Julien trained a variety of clients from elite athletes and ex Olympians to school age children, seniors, pregnant women and new mothers. At 98 Gym Julien was surrounded by some of the most inspirational, experienced and highly qualified fitness coaches in the business. This is the place that sparked the desire to open his own gym.
Julien brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience and is passionate about what he does. He cares about his clients and loves seeing them improve and reach their goals.
A true French man at heart, away from work Julien enjoys the finer things in life like enjoying good food, a nice glass of wine, playing golf, coffee with friends, spending time with his three girls and of course having a good laugh. What you’ll love most about Julien is his sense of humour, ability to motivate and his French/Aussie accent.
